OUR
HISTORY
Bob and Ingrid Fields always considered themselves
problem solvers. After moving to California to
work with a large company and a design firm, Bob and Ingrid
realized they loved the “gated community” feel
of their home, but that something was missing from their
lives. It was the peace of mind they had when living in
the Midwest - the comfort of knowing your neighbors, less
traffic and just plain old-fashioned peace and quiet.
That is when they developed the idea of having a “village” in or close to the city: smaller gated communities offering a stress-free, natural and secure environment. They
imagined a place where people could live in modern, hand-crafted homes surrounded by lush gardens, walking trails and orchards. They knew Akron, Ohio and decided
it would be perfect location to create their vision!
With over 25 years of experience in technology construction project management and technology sales management, Akron Ohio Home Builder,
Bob and Ingrid Fields founded Fieldstone Villages LLC. For their first project they developed land at Chenoweth Crossing and began working with local area engineers
to produce condominium villages. More about Chenoweth Crossing»
They are now the proud winners of the Akron Home Builder 2005 HBA Portage & Summit Counties Best Land Plan, Best Community Permanent Entry Feature, Best New Home Construction
for Detached Condominium and Bronze Level Sales Award. Fieldstone Villages works with quality local Akron Ohio Home Builder contractors
including Amish craftsmen and some of the finest plumbers, electricians, and interior detail specialists to create fully customized interiors for their homes.
